Lumily AI ("we", "us", or "our") operates the Lumily mobile application. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use our application.
1. Information We Collect
Photos and Images
When you select or capture a photo for processing, the image is loaded into your device's memory for AI processing. Your photos are processed entirely on your device and are never uploaded, transmitted, or stored on any external server. All image processing happens locally using on-device machine learning models.
Analytics Data
We use Google Firebase Analytics to collect anonymous usage data, including:
- Screen views and navigation patterns
- Feature usage events (e.g., photo selection, style conversion)
- App session duration and frequency
This data is aggregated and anonymized. It cannot be used to identify individual users.
Crash Reports
We use Google Firebase Crashlytics to collect crash reports and diagnostic information, including:
- Stack traces and error logs
- Device model, operating system version, and app version
- Available memory and disk space at the time of the crash
This information helps us identify and fix bugs to improve app stability.
Advertising Data
We use Google AdMob to display advertisements. AdMob may collect:
- Advertising ID (GAID) for ad personalization
- Device information (model, operating system, language, screen size)
- Network state and IP address
- Ad interaction data (impressions, clicks)
You can opt out of personalized advertising in your device settings.
Subscription Information
If you purchase a Pro subscription, Google Play Billing handles the transaction. We receive a purchase token to validate your subscription status. Payment information is processed entirely by Google Play and is never shared with us.
Feedback Submissions
If you submit feedback through the app, the title and content of your feedback are sent to our support team. This feedback is used solely to respond to your inquiry and improve the app.
2. How We Use Information
- To provide and improve the app's features
- To diagnose and fix technical issues
- To display relevant advertisements
- To respond to user feedback and support requests
- To understand how users interact with the app
3. Data Sharing
We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information. Data may be shared with the following third-party services solely for the purposes described above:
- Google Firebase — Analytics and crash reporting
- Google AdMob — Advertising delivery and measurement
- Google Play — Subscription management and validation
- Discord — Feedback submissions (only when you choose to submit feedback)
4. Data Retention
Photos processed by the app are held in device memory only during processing and are released immediately after. No images are retained by the app beyond the processing session. Analytics and crash data are retained by Google according to their standard data retention policies.
5. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect the data we collect. All network communications are encrypted using HTTPS. Sensitive local data is stored using hardware-backed encryption where applicable. For more details, please see our Security Policy.
